Abstract
This special issue contains three papers which deal with the implications of new information technologies (IT) in transports. The first paper assesses the impacts of IT on personal travel and commercial vehicle operations. The second paper investigates the privacy issues in electronic toll collection in Australia. The third paper presents the new technologies for transport route selection.
